TK Presiden Celebrates Christmas 2024 and Welcomes New Year 2025 with YPUP: A Faith-Filled Event “Answering God’s Call”
On January 10, 2024, TK Presiden proudly participated in the annual Christmas and New Year Celebration organized by the President University Education Foundation (YPUP). This meaningful event, held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium on the 5th floor of Building A, President University Campus, brought together students, educators, leaders, and staff from all levels of the President University academic community, including TK Presiden, to reflect on the spirit of faith, unity, and gratitude.
A Celebration Rooted in Faith: “Answering God’s Call”
The 2024 celebration carried the inspiring theme “Answering God’s Call.” This theme invited all participants to reflect on their individual and collective purpose as part of the educational community. The event opened with a solemn Christmas Mass led by Father Camellus Deleis da Cunha, Pr., creating a reverent and reflective atmosphere for all attendees.
Among the distinguished guests were YPUP Chairman Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA, members of the YPUP board, President University Rector Handa S. Abidin, SH, LL.M., Ph.D., university vice-rectors, and Vice Director of President School, Mr. Bambang Kusumohadi. Also present were principals from various school levels under the President School community, including TK Presiden.
Student Performances and Togetherness
The highlight of the celebration was a series of student performances from TK Presiden, President Elementary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, and President University. These performances included singing, dancing, and storytelling that shared messages of love, hope, and kindness. For TK Presiden students, this was a valuable opportunity to build confidence, practice public speaking, and express their creativity in a spiritual setting.
The celebration concluded with a warm communal meal, where participants shared food and stories, reinforcing the family spirit that characterizes the President University Education Foundation.
Faith-Based Learning Starts Early at TK Presiden
By taking part in events like these, TK Presiden strengthens its commitment to faith-based early childhood education. Events like the Christmas and New Year Celebration serve not only as festive gatherings but also as a platform to nurture the values of empathy, respect, gratitude, and togetherness—key principles that we instill in our students from an early age.
TK Presiden believes that spiritual development plays a vital role in shaping well-rounded individuals. Our participation in the YPUP Christmas and New Year celebration is part of a broader effort to integrate academic excellence with character and spiritual growth.
